Purpose of the position:

Develop and maintain an effective customer account management service, ensuring
customer needs are met within the legal framework.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts covering all services of the Wastepack group
  • Develop, execute and maintain a customer service plan, ensuring that a regular and appropriate level of communication with the account occurs and establishing and enforcing best practices.
  • Ensure retention of key accounts by dealing positively with all queries, issues and requests and by exceeding member expectations, understanding the requirements of the accounts and industries in which they operate.
  • Work with the account management team to implement a program of audits, online
    with customer needs and the regulator. Attend audits with the regulator when necessary to
    ensure that legal requirements are met.
  • Promote business development and identify business opportunities with
    members, offer new services and help the commercial function to identify and
    recruit new members.
  • Understand the PRN market and provide guidance to members as needed.
  • Help maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards; and make recommendations to improve processes and procedures to achieve business objectives. Support the development of operating procedures, systems and policies.
