The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has been inviting online applications for recruitment for various Grade ‘A’ Assistant Manager positions in the General stream. Eligible candidates can apply for vacancies on the official website www.sidbi.in until March 24, 2022.

The tentative date for the online exam is April 16 and the interview is tentatively scheduled for May 2022. The recruitment campaign aims to fill a total of 100 Assistant Manager positions.

Eligibility criteria

Age limit: No younger than 21 and no older than 28 as of March 4, 2022. Upper age relaxation applicable as per government standards.

Education Qualification: Bachelor of Laws or Bachelor of Engineering (preferably civil/electrical/mechanical) or Master’s degree in any discipline (preferably in the field of business/economics/management) from an institute/university recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC)/Central Government OR CA/CS/CWA/CFA OR Ph.D from institutions recognized by GOI/UGC. Candidate must have achieved a minimum of 60% or First Class (55% or Second Class, in the case of SC/ST) marks, overall in any of the qualifications listed above.

Processing fee

The application and processing fee for SC/ST/PwBD applicants will be Rs 175, while Rs 1100 is applicable to non-reserved category applicants. The titular candidates are exonerated from the payment of the contribution.

  6. Take a printout for future reference

Selection procedure

The selection process for the position would be through an online exam comprising an objective test as well as a descriptive test followed by a personal interview. Applicants who qualify based on the minimum cutoff scores decided by SIDBI would be called for an interview.
