Channel 4’s latest real estate show, Mega Mansion Hunters, introduces a whole new world of real estate that’s very different from the quaint world of Kirstie and Phil.

Tyron Ash, owner of Tyron Ash Real Estate, leads his team of luxury real estate agents who seek out the best homes in the country.

It’s already been described as the UK’s answer to Netflix’s mega-hit Selling Sunset, which deals with the glamorous real estate world of Los Angeles. and the lives of the people who sell the expensive houses.

Without an office for the Mega Mansion Hunters team, choosing their own hours, and using social media from Instagram to TikTok to find homes for sale and buyers, these real estate agents are doing things a little differently.

From bitter feuds with each other to mending old relationships, the series interweaves the sale of stunning properties with the drama of the estate agent’s personal life.

Mega Mansion Hunters begins on Channel 4 on Wednesday February 9 at 10 p.m. and Tyron himself shares his story on the show of how he changed his life.

Standing outside his old home, Tyron revealed that before running his real estate empire, he was arrested for drug dealing and led a very different lifestyle.

He said: “Last time I went to this house I was put in the back of a police van. I was arrested here for intent to supply class A drugs.”

Tyron was sentenced to 40 months in prison and said it was the turning point in his life and “the best thing that ever happened to him”.

Tyron has his own luxury real estate empire

He has now also patched up his relationship with his younger brother Reis, who has traded plumbing to become an estate agent for Tyron, and they are moving into a luxury new party venue in London together.

He explained how letting his family down has motivated him to work hard, he said: “That’s why I’m working very, very hard to make sure now that I can pay my brother back, help him build a business he can be proud of.”

Looking around the new apartment, Reis said, “I can’t really believe we’ve been here for eight years, when we didn’t really talk.”

Elsewhere on the show, realtor Sophie was balancing the lack of work by taking time off for butt-enhancing surgery and a bitter feud with fellow realtor Alex.

Sophie underwent a Brazilian butt lift after injuring her right knee and could no longer continue her previous career as a personal trainer. She said it massively affected her confidence and described the operation as “exactly what she wanted”.

However, the operation has meant that she has fallen behind in her work and Tyron is not happy as his career is on the line.

On top of that, Sophie gets caught up in a big disagreement with Alex because he thinks she stole some property from him in Cornwall. At the end of the episode, the pair met for drinks which didn’t go over well.

The conversation ended with Sophie telling Alex that there was “no need to be sour all the time” and that the tension was still very high in the air.

Mega Mansion Hunters begins on Channel 4 at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9.
