A PLACE In The Sun star Laura Hamilton is leaving the family home after announcing that she has split from husband Alex Goward.
The TV presenter and real estate expert told fans she was selling the property in Surrey after living there for nine years with her family.
Laura, 39, announced this week that she and her husband Alex have split after 13 years together as she discusses “frightening changes” in her life.
Before revealing her marriage breakdown, Laura posted a video to show how the couple transformed the gorgeous property.
Now the house is back on the market as the mother-of-two – who shares eight-year-old Rocco and six-year-old Tahlia with her ex – seeks to move into a new place.
Incredible images of the property show the impressive landscaped garden surrounding it – which includes a patio for alfresco dining and a large swimming pool.
The property has an impressive private entrance and is protected from the surrounding properties by tall, well-kept trees and shrubs.
A small pool house stands separate from the main house, perfect for entertaining guests with rattan furniture and a fireplace nearby.
Inside, the glamorous home has been remodeled with a neutral palette of beige, gray, and wood to give a relaxed feel to the country property.
In the kitchen, there is a large central marble island surrounded by gray cabinets and a double white sink, as well as a large wooden dining table.
Wooden chairs and beige bar stools connect the room, along with chrome light fixtures and personal touches of flowers and family photographs.
A large hallway leads to a large living room, which includes a huge gray velvet sofa in a corner with a matching ottoman for lounging and chilling out.
The room is bathed in natural light from the large windows overlooking the garden, showcasing the bookshelf-style wallpaper.
Upstairs are a number of bedrooms including a sprawling master bedroom suite – complete with its own walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom.
The huge bedroom has space for its own sofa and coffee table, while a second bedroom in the converted attic houses a large, comfortable chair.
Laura showed how she and Alex transformed the house on Instagram shortly before their split – showing the conversion of the attic and the scaffolding.
This week, the host explained that they have created “incredible memories” in the house, but that they will not allow “fear” to prevent it from “growing”.
She wrote on Instagram: “I wish I could say I look like this photo right now, but I’m not because since the start of the new year we’ve been getting our house ready to move in.
“Today we close the door and say goodbye to a house we have loved and appreciated for 9 years – the longest I have lived in my life.
“It was a home that we transformed but MORE importantly, it was a home where we created incredible memories that we will cherish forever.
“Change can be scary, but you know what’s scarier? Allow fear to keep you from growing, evolving, and progressing.
“When it’s scary to jump, that’s exactly when you jump, otherwise you end up staying in one place all your life, and that I can’t do.”
Laura – who started working in real estate at the age of 19 – started presenting A Place In The Sun in 2011 and has since become a fan favorite.
