Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducting market research and identifying potential customers.
  • Ability to approach potential customers, through cold calls, to organize meetings with the aim of presenting the company and its services.
  • Work with the company’s commercial policy to achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop and conduct an effective and professional presentation and sales of the company’s security products to targeted potential customers.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, events and demonstrations to increase awareness of the company and its products.
  • Negotiate price, costs and necessary specifications with customers and co-workers.
  • Record progress and sales information.
  • record sales and order information and send copies to the sales office or enter numbers into a computer system.
  • Key Account Management – ensuring timely renewals and excellent relationship management.
  • Maintain relationships with customers by providing support, information and advice; research and recommend new opportunities, benefits and service improvements.
  • Communicate future (forecast) buying trends to managers.

Qualifications and skills required

  • BA/B.Sc. degree or equivalent in marketing, social sciences and other related discipline.
  • Degree in marketing, social sciences other related discipline.
  • Proven commercial experience, preferably in the sale of security guard services.
  • History of exceeding quotas and B2B/outside sales experience.
  • Strong communication, good presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and product management.
  • Self-motivation and personal dynamism.
  • Proven and verifiable sales experience in the field of security and FMCG.
  • A professional qualification will be an asset

Other requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a conventional security sales industry.
  • Good English skills, oral and written.

N100,000 monthly and very high sales commission.
