Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drives achievement of maximum sales and growth in line with company vision
• Oversees all aspects of merchandising and communications with merchant partners and vendors (e.g. presentation, returns, damages)
• Manages team execution, anticipates and adapts to risks and obstacles to maintain operational excellence
• Determines strategic objectives in partnership with the Director of Operations and sets priorities accordingly
• Works alongside the Operations Manager and Owner to execute the store budget and ensure guidelines are followed to minimize operating expenses and maximize revenue
• Supports the Director of Operations in the accomplishment of his duties, including replacement as needed
• Fulfill store management responsibilities including attending daily, weekly and monthly meetings as appropriate
• Solid knowledge of current inventory products, collections and designers, customization opportunities and incoming inventory
• Actively participates and, in the absence of the Operations Manager, facilitates store management team meetings by fostering an environment of trust and respect for free and open participation, sharing of ideas, resolution of problems
• Provides information to senior management on performance reviews and disciplinary sessions
• Actively recruits and hires quality talent to add to the team, planning and creating a talent bank
• Develops or creates training and education sessions for current and new stylists, while fostering an environment for the team to achieve new career development goals
• Recognizes outstanding performance of stylists, addressing opportunities for growth within the company
• Ensure consistent and frequent communication between all teams
• Demonstrates working knowledge and appreciation of the bridal industry and the fashion industry

• Oversees floor to monitor store coverage and presence
• Build a customer service focused team, overseeing customer service efforts and escalations

• 4+ years of relevant experience, luxury retail fashion experience preferred
• Prior retail senior management experience required
• 4-year degree preferred
• Demonstrated leadership in change within the team and organization
• Proven track record of delivering results across multiple businesses
• History of building, leading, motivating and coaching teams to achieve goals
• Strong business acumen and advanced analytical skills
• Previous experience handling complex business issues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Great attention to detail

• Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite of products
• Knowledge of Bridal Live is a plus
• Some roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds
