Recount Update for the Office of the County Council Supervisor of Eau Claire District 11, 23

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – The result of last week’s spring primary election in the race for Eau Claire County Council Supervisor – District 23 remains unchanged after a recount.

Robin Leary defeated Don Zwicker by three votes in the election. After Friday’s recount requested by Zwicker, Leary won the election by four votes.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – The race for Eau Claire County Council Supervisor – District 11 remains unchanged after a recount Thursday morning.

After losing by nine votes to Nathan Otto, Tara Balts called for a recount.

The Eau Claire County Clerk’s Office said Otto had 187 votes in the ballot and 187 votes after Thursday’s recount. The Balts previously had 178 votes and ended up with 177 votes after the recount.

A recount for the Council Supervisor – District 23 is scheduled for Friday morning. In this race, Robin Leary beat Don Zwicker by three votes.

CLEAR WATER, Wis. (WEAU) – Two of the candidates for Eau Claire County Supervisor are asking for a recount after last week’s spring election.

In the race for Eau Claire County Supervisor – District 11, Nathan Otto defeated Tara Balts by nine votes. The Balts demanded the recount.

A recount is scheduled for Thursday morning in the Eau Claire County council chambers. The recount includes wards 2, 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13 in the city of Altoona and ward 9 in the city of Washington.

In the race for Eau Claire County Board Supervisor – District 23, Robin Leary won by three votes over Don Zwicker. Zwicker called for the recount.

A recount of that race is scheduled for Friday morning in the Eau Claire County board room. This recount includes districts 11, 37, 44 and 47 of the city of Eau Claire.
